ELECTION RESULTS FROM JANUARY 13, 2012: 144 out of 975 Members voted.

Director at Large: Scott Anderson- 99, Leo Boliver- 94, Kevin Mclaughlin- 86, Earl Taylor- 27.

Fish Chairman: Larry Hill- 52 write in votes. Trap: Ruth Granger- 74, Charlie Dautrich- 62.

Board of Directors: President- Bill Grimaldo, Vice President- John Meserve

Treasurer- Larry Sullivan, Membership- Steve Alger, Recording Secretary- Mike Bundtzen,

Assistant Treasurer- Tony Mielnicki, Bar Manager- Steve Schroeder, Archery- Jon Yedinak,

Rifle Range- Dick Granger, Trap- Ruth Granger, Fish- Larry Hill.

Director at Large: Scott Anderson, Leo Boliver, Kevin McLaughlin and Past President- Bob Kolofsky.

MEMBERSHIP –We welcomed six new members to the club, bringing our total to 975 members. Dues are expected to be paid by the end of Board of Director’s meeting on January 27, 2012, or you will no longer be considered a member in good, standing and no longer able to use the club facilities.

Member Frank Vanderhoof won the $250.00 attendance prize, February will be $25.00. If you are having trouble paying your dues; we all know times are tough this time of year, give me a call or email to arrange some kind of payment plan. I will work with you on this and it is very confidential.

ARCHERY – We are looking forward to another exciting year at the archery range. The spring leagues are right around the corner, be sure to keep an eye on the newsletter for start dates. We have scheduled a bow hunter education course for April 14, 2012. This is an all-day event and you must call Mass Wildlife at (978) 772-0693 to register for the course. Please sign up as soon as possible as this course fills up quickly every year.

Make sure you stop by the clubhouse and see the bow for the game dinner raffle. Tickets are available at the bar. Try your luck and support our club in the process.

FISH – Thanks to Larry Hill for taking over as Fish Chairman. Ice Derby is scheduled for Sunday, January 29^th "Weather Permitting". Kitchen opens @ 6am, derby starts @ 7am. Stocking Saturday January 21^st around noon. Raffle: Jiffy Ice Auger, Model 30, 10" . Tickets are available @ the bar and can also purchased the day of the derby.

Future Derby Dates: April 22^nd, Kids Derby May 19^th, and Members Derby May 20^th.

-Black Patch Ham Shoot April 1^st, at 1 pm, Singletary members are welcome.

-Remaining Winter Pistol Shoots Dates: February 12, 26. March 11, 25. April 1, 15.
Sign up at 9 am and shoot at 9:30 am.

When using the rifle range, you must wear your clubbutton. Please sign in on the sheet in the box near the bulletin board. Members are allowed three guests, but only ONE GUEST is allowed under the range roof at a time. Please sweep up your empty brass. Range rules are posted at the back of the roof area for your review."GAME SUPPER" – Saturday, February 25^TH, TICKETS $25.00. Donations needed!!!

MASS JUNIOR CONSERVATION CAMP

This two week camp (August 5^th – 17^th, 2012) open to those 13 – 17 years of age, offers a program of conservation education and outdoor recreational activities, wildlife management, archery, orienteering, basic camping and more. A state approved basic hunting education and boating safety courses is part of the program also. Any person interested in attending should write a letter stating why you want to attend this camp. Include name, address, age and contact telephone number and mail or drop off at the club. ASAP preferred, deadline is March 9, 2012.

SPECIAL SUNDAY MEAT RAFFLES–Three drawings:2, 3 and 4pm, 10–12 pound Black Angus Strip Steak.

POOL LEAGUE – Tuesdays, show up for 7:00 pm. For more info see Johnny "M".

CHILI COOK OFF - Sunday, January 22. Entries turned in by 1:30. Judges needed. Prizes, 50/50 Raffle.

PITCH LEAGUE – Calling all Pitch Players, get your partner and come on down and join the fun starting Wednesday, February 15^th @ 7pm. It will run for approximately 10 weeks depending on the amount of teams that sign up. Prizes awarded to 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd place. Sign up sheet located at the bar.

KIDS EASTER EGG HUNT – Sunday, March 25^th.
CLASSIC "Rock and Roll" NIGHT Club Fund Raiser - Saturday, April 21^st from 7pm – Midnight!

All are welcome for a night out with Food, Music, and Fun. Dancing Shoes optional!!!!
